Love this idea, I have mine in ring binders, but it's not great. But I'm blown away on how clean your stencils are, how do you do that? Or do you just store them and not use them 😂

So far this year with every new release that has caught my eye, when I check my stash I already have some version of the supplies. Not that this has stopped me from buying exactly. I really need to shift my buying habits to restocking essentially. Tape, glue, reinkers, etc. But if I am dead bang honest, reinkers and tape refills coming in the mail just do not create the kind of anticipatory excitement that dies and stamps do. And nifty new gadgets too. I bought Sizzix’s new spinning stencil and stamp platform this year even though I already own Inkadinkado’s stamping gear and Gina K Designs’ wreath building template plus other mandala building tools. Technically the new platform was a Mother’s Day gift so maybe it doesn’t count as repeatedly buying the same type of stuff. On the other hand I did request it so… Why does new in the mail feel more exciting than “I already have that” right now in my stash? My craft subscriptions were such a boon to my spirits during COVID lockdowns. I have canceled all of them, because, because basically I’m at capacity. Mostly. 😊 I need as much woo woo rah rah excitement about my stash as I have for new releases. Part of it is definitely a feeling of loyalty/guilt for certain designers. With a number of Spellbinders’ designers, Tim Holtz, and Simon Hurley, I feel almost obligated to buy something from each new release 😅 If anyone knows how to be as excited about your stash as a new toy in the mail, please share 🙏🏾

I really love the masculine card lettering.

Great examples for stencils and paste! I use a plastic container with water and soap nearby to hold my stencils until I'm done so I can wash them all at once. The soapy water helps keep the paste loose for easier cleaning.

I am saving for Stamptember, so using my stash all summer long. I need to make some dragonfly cards for my stash, and they work well for masculine cards. Two for one, so to speak. I am also going to take out previously bought but used maybe once stamps, and make Christmas cards with them. I have a couple of stencils from Tim Holtz I haven't used, will use those for backgrounds on the cards.

I agree 100% - USE the stuff we have at hand. Note at the beginning of my personal journal for 2024 "don't buy ANY unnecessary card making items this year". I plan to stick to that as much as possible. Great video!!

I learnt from Jennifer McGuire that one folds the cardstock "away" from the crease.

I love this (&need to do it too! )LOVE the colors!! So, do you prefer CP party inks or spa inks better? I’m slloowwllyy adding to my party collection first. I like that you use a broad variety of products from different companies. And I love that you’re shopping your stash!

Great cards...great challenge! I don't even want to count the number of unused crafting items I have. Since the beginning of June I've been going through all the supplies in my craft room--can't believe what I've found. I've started by creating cards with my unused ephemera and 6x6 paper pads. Over 100 cards now ready for a charitable craft fair in the Fall.
